We want to spread the word

Every year, thousands of civilians, children are indiscriminately killed or injured by explosive remnants of war such as cluster bombs.

This should not be happening. Because we don't want to forget these innocent men, women and children whose lives and dreams have been shattered, we have collected a series of case studies which demonstrate why cluster bombs should be completely banned.

    • Among the 24 countries where cluster munitions are used, Laos is the most affected country.
    • In 1999, around 300,000 cluster munitions were dropped over Kosovo by the USA, the UK and the Netherlands.
    • The war between Hizbollah and Israel during the summer 2006 sadly illustrates the devastating effect of cluster bombs on civilians.
