Exciting free educational resources for your school or community group
In 2010 Handicap International launched a new awareness-raising tool aimed at young people and teachers.
A leading voice in the international campaign against landmines and cluster bombs, Handicap International has drawn on its experience as a key organisation working on demining, risk education and victim assistance to produce an engaging and comprehensive resource.
The DVD and website tell the story of how the actions of ordinary people around the world led to the international treaties banning landmines and cluster bombs. They provide young people with the information and skills to become active global citizens, allowing them to take action to raise awareness about these weapons, which have terrible consequences for civilians.
